2 Ways  for Building strong professional relationships 

They say in life you should have either 2 things to prosper:
“Money Power or People Power”
 With money you can create and expand an organization, but with people you can built and grow an organization to its fervour.
The purpose of writing this article is not to make friends for personal or professional riches; it is to propagate the torch of generosity, humbleness and kindness which are building blocks of any business and relationship.

With the above intent, I would like to share a real time scenario which happened in a real estate industry, a mere office boy serving tea and snacks to the walk inn customers at the project becoming one of the valuable employee of that organization. 

That office boy who was jovial and was carrying a good rapport with the sales executives & managers was very curious to know about the real estate project that they were explaining to their prospective clients. He absorbed the knowledge like a sponge and kept asking questions in their spare time about the project that they were endorsing. The employees liked him for his honest answers; the way he greeted them into their office in time was really wonderful to start their daily sales pitch.

So the days passed on, one fine day a client walked in with a keen intent of booking a FLAT in their prestigious project, for their surprise all the sales executives and manager went for a team outing. They were the NRI customer who had checked the property details in website and came down to the project thinking of closing the deal. When they asked is there any person who can help us to explain about the project in details, this office boy with eagerness of helping them went on to closing the deal for his company.  At that very instance, while they were filling the application form the Vice president –Sales & marketing walked in to the site. For his surprise he saw the boy was helping them to fill up the application form, he intervened and gauged the situation and said will take it forward and gave the office boy a puzzled look. 

After knowing the background of the case and the client who had booked with him showered flowers of praises for the office boy. From that very day, the life from a mere office assistant transformed into a professional executive of that company and asked him to be part of the team who will be handling Sales & Marketing of their two prestigious properties in Bangalore.
From that moment on wards he grown strength to strength and within one and a half years he fulfilled his biggest responsibility of executing his sister’s marriage and then after leaving happily with his mother.

In this whole process the key to his triumph was his kind humble and inquisitive attitude.  He didn’t have shame or any hick ups to ask what he wanted to ask? With utmost enthusiasm, mingled and enjoyed his time with the people at this work place.
That office boy who didn’t have any money but just being good and generous with people helped him to achieve that feat. So the idea is when you are good with people and have an urge to succeed in life the opportunity comes to you and by grabbing that success will definitely follow you.

So it doesn’t matter where you come from, it doesn’t matter you are rich or poor, being good and humble with people doesn’t require any certification it’s just a basic human value which makes the difference in today’s world.
So be Kind, Be humble and would be the bottom line for your Happiness. Cheers
