3 Awesome ways for being a Great Leader

3 Awesome ways for being a Great Leader

Once someone asked Gautama Buddha, What is poison????
The great saint replied, “Whatever you do excess in life turns out to be poison”

There are some instances in life both personal & professional where being always proactive and always taking initiatives which is a trait of a leader can sometimes leave you in a big soup.

Being always vocal and to have a view point for everything, people assume that, this guy knows everything and people tend to mistake you for that. They might think he can be adamant or stubborn in his views, even if they want to correct you they just think he might give them very stern and disagreed look to your face & tend not to share any information or any news, because this guy knows everything.
These are the general apprehension that people carry about such over smart gentlemen and ladies. To be very upfront, it’s all about your talent as a marketer and basic traits of managing people & observing people on the long run will help to understand better and to grow as a leader.
When you need to open your Wings of leadership are given below:

1) Rotation Policy of Leadership:

In a team if you’re the only person to do all the work and also coordinate with others whether they are intact or no, then you are over stressing yourself.
This technique will surely help you and also makes the other wake up in jiffy.

Here every people will get a chance to become a leader for ‘n’ no of tasks. So by this they learn initiatives and everyone will be noticed. This will lower your burden and get to know each other strength. In this you will grow and also your team members. As they say a true success of a leader depends on the success of his followers.  That’s the way it should always be.

2) Always Commit Less and Deliver More:

It’s a psychology of any management, if you have committed, you should deliver the things. They will be happy if you have committed as per your strength and if you deliver more than that obviously they will be happy. So gouge your situation and your team’s strength and according to that set a modest target and deliver more. This is a hallmark of any good leader. Don’t get excited and under achieve. Rather be cool and have a safe achievable realistic target and achieve. The reason for being modest in your talks is because, management is never satisfied, for that you should be tactful enough to convince the group even if you tend to underplay.

3) Talk Less, React Not, Listen Well and Act Thoroughly:

People are just people they don’t change even if you try to educate and console them they will talk bullshit things for a simple solution of a problem, if you want to have a taste of it watch Arnab Gosswami’s program in Times Now, you will come to know what I’m saying ;-). Here when a discussion happens in a team it usually tends to convert it into an argument, basically has I have observed the argument comes or the person starts raising his voice when the other person invariably interrupts the speaker by that the speaker gets irritated and he also joins the ugly act of argument & the topic gets haywire.

The background of explaining this with respect to the topic was, you cannot control such situation. Sometimes people cannot help themselves and starts opening their mouth for the heck of opening, they don’t think twice are they speaking some sense or no. In such situation try to give them an engrossing job, & try avoid such people in the discussion by acting intelligently.

Never react for a ridiculous insight rather avoid thinking and get on for an act mode of finding the solution or get an insight for the problem.

So these were some do’s and don’t of when and when not to become a leader.

As they say give some time and time will take care of itself rather than you jumping to the situation for which you don’t have a control and making unnecessary jackass of yourself.

Keep Calm and Let there be Sanity of Being a Leader.
