It sounds so negative when you talk about bossism, why people want to call themselves as boss rather than a good leader. Why boss creates pressure rather than creating creative solution,why you proud to be boss rather than proud to be a leader, Bossism bring negativity, its short cut way to achieve thinks that to for shorter period. You really need to have guts to call yourself as a leader and in bossism indirectly you force people to call you as a BOSS.
Bossism is disease once its start spreading, it will be very difficult to find medicine for it and your so called baby company will have to have the shorter life. Bossism kills company, that’s why most of the companies will die soon. So it needs the medicine called leadership, the leader whose job is to create many leaders and the leaders will find medicine for the disease. So bossism, what type of disease it creates? And how you can find medicine for it.
1) Threat: Bossism creates threat for you. No one feels to work under boss but everybody wants to work under a good leader, when you show bossism automatically you will create an environment that creates threat to your company because of rude behaviour, expecting more, the amount of pressure which you built will transfer in to irritation and to frustration and to anger and finally to threat. Employees will jump to competitive companies and that’s going to be the biggest threats of your career, so be a good leader it creates happiness, bring joy.
2) Conflicts : An Easy way to bring down the performance of company, when a person act like boss, most of the time he/she disrespect their employees, when you don’t respect your own employee they carry the revenge not to perform up to the mark, sometimes it will create a clean road for roamers too.
3) Creation of negative Environment: Act as a leader who always try to bring positive environment, don’t scare you employees by being boss, if you do so then they will not be able to show their natural talent, when they don’t show their natural talent, the pressure will build up and it brings the scripted performance so be a leader and inspire them, motivate them to perform naturally because it will give new and fresh idea and avoid negative environment.
4) Creation of Bossmanship: As I said boss creates bosses and a good leader creates leaders, when you feel that your juniors acting as a boss to their juniors, when you smell this negative environment, take steps stop this practice because when you have many bosses like this they will just order each other and never step into and when you avoid this, leaders will come in to the picture and take initiative steps to perform in a better manner.
So over all the bossmanship will cut down the growth rate of company, so create leaders who inspire in creating many more leaders, at the end of the day you really wants to release free employer for that you have to find the medicine called leader, a leader who will never be your boss to show his power.
