Music as a part of brand management 

As they say, “Sometimes it takes One Good Music to bring back thousands of Good Memories”. In country like India, where Bollywood is its main source of entertainment for the people and it connect millions of it through its music
. In a such instance, recently I had an invite from one of my close acquaintance and got the chance to be part of the live audience in one of the most famous shows in the Indian television named “Comedy Nights with Kapil”. There the Badshah of Bollywood King Khan Shahrukh Khan had come (pardon me I went into the emotions) and with his team was promoting his new film named, “Dilwale”. There with one the request from the audience he performed one of its favourite no of Baazigar “ Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankein” 



The moment he performed the tune, the fans went gaga over him. By that musical note, I just remembered the brilliance of Shahrukh Khan which he portrayed as Ajay Sharma in the movie. The vengeful Ajay Sharma the way he takes revenge of his family on Madan Chopra, his Crude and Unforgiving Laugh during the climax, his dialogues delivery filled with vengeance and his intense action scenes was running through my mind. As an audience it was an absolute treat to your senses. By such instances, you get inspired, Shahrukh khan is just not a Bollywood Star, he is a Global Icon, where you draw inspiration and use it to your own well existence. This is just an analogy for the new aspiring advertiser especially for an FMCG Sector.

I bet you can’t forget the famous Jingles of Ponds” Googly Woogly Wosh” Which reminds of pond moisturising cream, which been used from ages, from our grandparents to us. Whenever at the cold winter nights when your skin used to dry, I remember my mom giving the ponds cold cream. The mere fragrance of it used to enchant me and to my skin. 

The other Ad I remember is Close Up famous song, “Close up taazgi ka Ehsaas yeh hai close up ka vishwas, CloseUp…”or the new one “Paas Aao… Paas Aao…, Paas Aao Na”. The moment I hear it, it brings a romantic enigma into your whole senses, it refreshes you and it makes you smile and just smile in peace….
This are just a few of the great jingle/musical ad that any Indian Consumer Love to be part of it and why not it’s what we believe in it, we cuddle our love ones as shown in the ads of ponds, we love to Being loved and Loved to be in tangled and get blossomed with our loved ones as shown in the Close up ads. So this is the way how the “Brands” Align to what we believe as humans and express their brand with such rhythmic manner which touches our heart and back the communication with its strong performances from their product. 

When a brand performs and gets aligned with the musical note, it give its brand a new leap altogether in terms of recognition and will always be at the top of their mind recall for its consumers. So any new entrepreneurs who wants their journey to be rhythmic, add a musical cord to your stream and enjoy the journey..
